Mobile Phone Unlocking FAQ:
Q. What are the advantages of unlocking my phone?
A. The biggest advantage is choice. With your mobile phone unlocked, you choose which network and which tariff you use at various times of the week, swapping your sim at different times to get the best value! Another advantage
is that the value of your handset could increase. Mobile phones which are unlocked tend to have a greater second-hand value.
Q. Are unlocking codes safe?
A. Removing the network restriction on your mobile phone with unlocking codes is the safest form of unlocking available, as there are no cables or flashing software involved in the process. You simply enter the necessary unlock codes directly into your phone via the phones keypad to remove the network restriction.
Q. What does IMEI mean?
A. It is a number unique to every GSM and UMTS mobile phone. It is usually found printed on the phone underneath the battery and can also be found by dialing the sequence *#06# into the phone.
We generate the unlocking code from the IMEI, this is called remote unlocking.
